Rachel is a professional dancer and a licensed school teacher. She is very excited to be teaching Barre, which merges her love of dance and exercise with her passion for teaching. Now a Meditation Instructor, Rachel embodies the mind-body connection. She also enjoys being outdoors, listening to music, reading, and spending time with her friends, family, and her Siberian Husky.
After a decade-long professional dance career with the San Diego Ballet, David discovered Barre and was hooked. He fondly remembers, “I was at Costco…I heard the cashier and clerk saying, ‘wow, that doesn’t even look like him!’… looking right at my membership card…‘You’ve lost a lot of weight!?’…From just that small postage-size picture, this person could tell I was on to something. She stopped this super long line to write down the information, just stopped everything…”
David’s clients are his passion. His goals for his classes: 1) it will be interesting, challenging and fun; 2) students will leave feeling his enthusiasm and positive energy. “I teach to give back all the wonderful benefits of the training I have received. I want my classes to welcome beginners and to challenge the ‘pros’. I want my students to leave feeling they not only got a great workout, but that they had fun; were challenged to their ability; and accomplished their fitness goals.”
